Looking at all these names has brought back so many fond memories. You can add more names to your list: Michael Grizanti (a rheumatologist in Buffalo, NY); Sal LoPorchio (a retina specialist in Cranston, RI); Earl Jackman (an OB/GYN in New York); Ralph Sutherland (I think he is also an OB/GYN in NY); Richard Renzi is an intensive care physician at the Miriam Hospital at Brown University in Providence, RI; Tony Rotondo married an italian physician and practices medicine in Italy (I think Pescara); Cathy Licota-Meli is, I think, a peditrician in the NY or NJ area; Dana DeLuca married Steve Schectman and became an attorney in RI; Anthony DeLuca may be Dana's brother "Jay" who became a pediatrician (I'm not certain about this one); Louis Brunetti was working in NYC (he is an attorney and physician); Dennis Farrell studied language in Perugia in 1976 and then went to vet school. He was the vet at a Long Island horse race track; Roland Borassi is a physician in Illinois; James Urban is a physician in East Greenwich, RI;
I will send more names soon.

Andrew- Truly an admirable undertaking on your part. I've reminisced time and time again with my wife and four daughters about those great times. After reviewing the photos I more than ever want to reconnect with so many people. I will do my best to spread word about the reunion. I look forward to seeing everyone in June. My e-mail is jdipiet@insight.rr.com. Thanks for having contacted me.

I noticed that there has been a lot of internet activity about the upcoming reunion. Andrew has worked EXTREMELY hard organizing this international event. It will give all of us a chance to "find" people from the past, talk about our experiences in Italy, and establish new friendships. I also noticed that many have not committed to Andrew. We must all send in our deposits so that the reunion can happen in June. Please notify Andrew that you are indeed coming.

Grazie.

I'm afraid I have some very bad news. Sadly, Jim Urban passed away unexpectedly last month. He had graduated from the University Of Rome and was practicing in Rhode Island. His patients loved him and he was a wonderful friend. He will be missed.

Just heard about this website from another Italian med grad who I did residency with at Interfaith Medical Center in 1985-87. I'm Rich Petronella, graduated U. of Bologna in late 1983, half my life ago. Practicing Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Tucson,Az since 1992. Heard from my friend that there will be a reunion in N.J. in June 2015. Would be interested in attending if some of the Bologna grads from the late 1970s and early 1980s can make it. Ciao to any of those who shared the Bologna adventure with me.
